Our sport and its coaches teach skills and strategy, and contribute to building character in youth. The future of our sport lies with great coaches and, as such, we are committed to recruiting, developing and mentoring the best coaches available and to ensuring they deliver programming that is fair, safe, effective and open to everyone. SMBA prioritizes the selection of coaches who are open to and committed to ongoing coach professional development and learning to help us achieve our club and programming goals.
Whether a brand new coach or a returning coach with Sackville Storm, the association will be here to support and provide you with the tools needed to help you develop along your coaching journey, no matter where you are starting from. Coaches will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
